Skills and Competencies * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. * In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles, practices, and technologies. ## Description The Information Assurance II role is responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of information systems within the Department of Defense (DoD) cybersecurity framework. Candidates will leverage their extensive experience in cybersecurity authorization and engineering activities to support critical security initiatives., * Cybersecurity Support: Provide Information Assurance (IA) architecture support, including certification and accreditation processes. Assist with security scans and other testing events to maintain compliance with DoD standards. * IA Design and Implementation: Collaborate with engineering teams to design and implement security measures in areas such as identity and access management, cyber situational awareness, and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI). * Compliance and Documentation: Ensure compliance with the Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) and DoD/Army Policies and Regulations. Prepare necessary documentation for network Authorization Officials (AOs) to grant Authority to Operate (ATO). * Monitoring and Reporting: Conduct information assurance and cybersecurity monitoring.
