Must be willing to obtain a CI Poly. * Minimum of 14 years of total professional experience in a technical support role, of which 5+ years has been in software testing, quality assurance, or related technical roles. * Experience testing web applications, APIs, and distributed systems in a variety of environments. * Knowledge of performance testing and security testing methodologies. * Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies and DevOps practices. * Experience with automated testing tools and scripting languages (e.g., Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, Python, JavaScript, or similar). * Understanding of software defect tracking and test management tools such as Jira, TestRail, or equivalent. * Demonstrated self-starter who consistently takes initiative with limited guidance and instruction. * BS in Systems Engineering, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Computer Systems Analysis, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering or equivalent or related technical field. * SCIF presence a minimum of 3 days per week, as program needs dictate. Preferred Qualifications: * Familiarity with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Elasticsearch, or similar platforms. * Experience testing cloud-native applications in AWS, Azure, or Kubernetes environments. * Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions. * ISTQB or other software testing certifications. * Experience working in high-availability, mission-critical production environments. * Experience as a military/intelligence analyst, supporting the military/IC, or knowledge of some IC PED systems is a plus! #cjpost #LI-RD Pay Transparency: To support pay transparency, Vantor includes salary ranges in all U.S. job postings. The listed range reflects the expected pay for this position, and final offers will be determined based on each candidate's experience, expertise, and alignment with the role. ## Description We are looking for a Software Tester to support a large-scale big data analytics platform supporting U.S. Government intelligence analysts. The selected candidate will work closely with software engineers, systems engineers, DevOps personnel, and end users to ensure the quality, reliability, performance, and usability of mission-critical applications and data services. This role requires strong analytical skills, hands-on testing experience in complex distributed systems, and the ability to operate effectively in an Agile development environment supporting national security missions.
