 + Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience.

 + Demonstrated experience in database systems analysis, development, and programming.

 + Proficient in the application of current database technologies and database-driven application design across multiple DBMS platforms.

 + Strong understanding of database system internals, architecture, and operational processes.

 + Capable of serving as a technical expert in the deployment, support, and utilization of database management systems.

 + Skilled in evaluating and recommending database products and solutions that align with validated business and user needs., While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to grip, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is regularly required to lift up to 10 pounds. The employee is frequently required to lift up to 25 pounds; and up to 50 pounds. The vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

+ Provides specialized technical expertise in the administration and support of database management technologies.

 + Analyzes user requirements and recommends appropriate DBMS products and solutions.

 + Develops and maintains database organization standards, indexing frameworks, and access security measures.

 + Implements and oversees backup, recovery, and data protection strategies to ensure the reliability, integrity, and recoverability of database systems.
