In this role, the selected candidate will help establish and operate secure, scalable, and resilient cloud infrastructure environments in Microsoft Azure to enable enterprise applications, software toolchains, and digital engineering workloads. As both an individual contributor and technical leader, this position will work across network, computer, storage, identity, security, and automation domains to deliver repeatable cloud infrastructure patterns and operational excellence. This role is focused on infrastructure operations, sustainment, automation, and reliability, rather than application software development. Position Responsibilities: * Design, implement, and maintain Microsoft Azure-based infrastructure solutions including networking, compute, storage, identity integration, and supporting services * Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and configuration automation solutions using Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, and Bash * Implement cloud policies to enforce security, ensure regulatory compliance, and manage user access * Build repeatable landing zones and cloud infrastructure patterns that support multiple application teams and enterprise services * Support environment standup, expansion, patching, upgrades, backup, and disaster recovery planning * Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting capabilities to maintain infrastructure health and reliability * Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues related to connectivity, performance, availability, and integration * Support cloud migration planning by preparing foundational infrastructure services and shared dependencies * Collaborate with architecture, networking, platform, and application teams to align infrastructure designs with program requirements * Document infrastructure standards, operational procedures, and support models * Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior engineers * Support operational readiness, change management, and configuration control processes * Participate in capacity planning and high availability design efforts ## Related Videos - [Dev & Test in the Cloud?
