## About the Role

 * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field; equivalent education and experience will be considered.
 * Minimum of four (4) years of professional experience in application development, software engineering, systems testing, or a related technical discipline.
 * Hands-on experience developing applications using Java.
 * Experience working with JDK 21.
 * Proficiency with JSON and XML.
 * Experience developing and supporting enterprise web applications.
 * Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
 * Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional technical teams.
 * Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills/Experience of the Java Developer III:

 * Experience with MongoDB.
 * Knowledge of the Quarkus framework.
 * Experience developing or deploying containerized applications.
 * Familiarity with application modernization or legacy system migration projects.
 * Experience working in Agile development environments.

* Design, develop, test, and deploy enterprise Java-based web applications.
 * Enhance and modernize existing applications using current technologies and development standards.
 * Collaborate with developers, analysts, and quality assurance teams to deliver software solutions.
 * Troubleshoot application issues and implement effective technical solutions.
 * Participate in code reviews and follow established development best practices.
 * Contribute to the delivery of reliable, scalable, and maintainable software applications.
