What Will Give You a Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications) + DFSS Certification + Experience in Engine/Transmission Controller Electronics + 5+ years of experience in Engine/Transmission/Chassis Controller Electronics + MS in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Chemistry, Physics, or equivalent + DFSS Master Black Belt Certification + Knowledge of SAFe Practices + In-depth knowledge of verification and validation processes ## Description Engines, Powertrain, and Transmission control modules and will be the global voice for technical expertise for these components and/or subsystems. You'll establish and maintain a clear strategy for the engine/transmission controllers and ensure reuse and technical excellence of engineering solutions and components. You'll work with the key stakeholders from execution, performance, and support teams to ensure common implementation of strategy and to promote technical knowledge for the components., + _Lead the controller technical review process to assure compliance with global requirements_ + _Mentor DRE's in common processes & act to support DFMEA reviews_ + _Lead in the development of an Inhouse Designed Controller. You will need to interface across the Compute & Connectivity Hardware as well as the Propulsion and Chassis Embedded Controls Technology Management Team_ + Maintain and refresh BOM Strategies + Intimate knowledge of hardware and software interfaces + Deliver BOM which meets Imperatives (Cost, Mass, Investment, Quality) + Develop Sourcing Strategies.
