This position will support a variety of Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) programs and Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) located at NAS Patuxent River, Maryland. Supports the development, acquisition, integration, sustainment, modernization, and lifecycle management of complex aviation, mission, survivability, and aircrew systems across multiple Department of Defense programs. Will provide systems engineering expertise throughout the system lifecycle, supporting requirements development, technical evaluations, system integration, risk management, airworthiness coordination, sustainment planning, and acquisition activities. Assignments may involve aircraft systems, avionics, survivability equipment, aircrew systems, training systems, low observable technologies, and other advanced defense capabilities.
