## About the Role

* At least 7 years of relevant working experience in a similar role.
 * Advanced UX research and interaction design.
 * Deep knowledge of accessible design for federal systems.
 * Experience integrating UX with Agile/DevSecOps teams.

Education and Certification Requirements:

 * Bachelor's degree in Design, Communications, Marketing, or related field.
 * Agile or UX certification preferred.

Clearance Requirements:

 * U.S. Citizenship
 * Ability to obtain Public Trust. Active Public Trust is preferred. FEMA Public Trust is highly preferred.

## Description

We are seeking a Senior UX/CX Specialist to lead multimodal user experience research and design for high-impact FEMA systems, ensuring digital products are intuitive, compliant, and optimized for crisis response operations., * Lead user research, heuristic evaluations, and multi-channel experience design.

 * Oversee UX strategy, accessibility compliance, and content design.
 * Facilitate workshops, co-design sessions, and design reviews with stakeholders.
 * Deliver high-fidelity wireframes, design systems, and prototypes.
 * Provide Section 508 and WCAG guidance.
