The Distribution Logistics and Systems Analyst is responsible for developing systems and analyses that support distribution center operations, enhancing store service levels while maximizing efficiency and reducing operational costs., Provide database and analytical support for the distribution center operations team. Develop and update database structures and reports, using SQL and Visual Basic to enhance queries, forms, reports, and linked Excel files. Design and implement business and system solutions based on specifications gathered from users and business requirements. Develop user-friendly tools for various mainframe applications. Manage the human resources associate discipline tracking database. Generate ad hoc reports as requested by the operations team. Build ad hoc database reports using Microsoft Access. Create item attribute reports to identify data inaccuracies and update the warehouse management system. Provide ongoing support to the warehouse operations team as needed. Prioritize multiple tasks to meet target deadlines. Maintain a high standard of attention to detail, integrity, and reliability. Ability to work in a cold perishable or frozen warehouse environment if needed. Perform additional job-related duties as assigned.
