* Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
 * 8 years of experience in software development.
 * 5 years of experience with design and architecture; and testing/launching software products.
 * 5 years of experience with cloud platforms, distributed computing, building scalable architecture, and leading software engineering teams., * Master's degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
 * 8 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
 * 5 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.
 * 5 years of experience building, scaling, and maintaining production Kubernetes infrastructure, Anthos/Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) enterprise, or bare-metal hybrid cloud deployments.

## Description

* Define the technical roadmap and strategy for the Kubernetes Infrastructure layer of the GDC product line.
 * Drive and influence engineering excellence across the organization, establish Service Level Objective (SLO) driven engineering practices, deliver industry-leading infrastructure with top supportability, stability, and resilience.
 * Drive and lead the end-to-end development lifecycle for GDC projects, from concept and design to deployment and maintenance.
 * Work closely with GDC product, operators, SREs (Site Reliability Engineers), and other engineering teams and lead to deliver impactful solutions.
 * Ensure the tools and applications are robust, scalable, and performant, meeting the high demands of a global infrastructure.
