## Description

Our client is seeking an IT Technician for a long-term temporary opportunity near Middletown, NY, with the potential for permanent employment for the right candidate. This hands-on role will focus on preparing, configuring, and deploying IT equipment while supporting users throughout the technology refresh process., * Unbox IT equipment and break down boxes.

 * Apply asset tags and set up host names in the basic input/output system.
 * Complete equipment inventory.
 * Install software and perform validation tasks.
 * Install operating system and software patches.
 * Transfer local files from old equipment to new equipment.
 * Make appropriate adjustments based on findings during the user validation process.
 * Deploy equipment to end users.
 * Maintain accurate and appropriate documentation.
