## About the Role

* BS in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field -
 * 2+ years of engineering experience
 * 3D modeling experience, preferably Siemens NX, others acceptable
 * Working knowledge of MS Office programs (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)
 * Excellent problem-solving and time management skills
 * Ability to understand other engineering disciplines' needs and translate to mechanical requirements
 * Strong verbal and written communication skills
 * Preferred but not required - experience designing products to meet FAA, MIL, or GOV specs
 * Preferred but not required - knowledge of GD&T
 * Preferred but not required - Knowledge of SAP
 * Preferred but not required - Experience working with and designing for PDM/PLM release
 * Preferred but not required - Experience using Microsoft Visio
 * Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 15%
 * In order to be considered, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident able to obtain an interim or final suitability determination, subject to completion and favorable adjudication of the required background investigation.

## Description

* Design and draw mechanical components for server rack assemblies using Siemens NX
 * Create and release BOMs for air traffic control systems
 * Produce drawings for internal and external manufacturing
 * Produce assembly drawings and electrical diagrams for production floor
 * Interpret and present designs using neat, accurate, and well-planned engineering drawing methods
 * Work closely with systems engineering, planning, manufacturing engineering, and technicians
 * Work independently on multiple projects and tasks concurrently
