Here's what else you'll bring: * Bachelors in EE/Mechanical/Mechatronics/SW Engineering with 5+ yrs of experience * 2+ years of experience in ADAS development, preferably within the automotive industry. * Experience with calibration, integration, or validation of features and software for ADAS applications. * Familiarity with automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet) and tools for development, simulation, and testing (e.g., CANoe, CANalyzer, JIRA, and Confluence). * Familiarity with relevant safety standards and legislative regulations (e.g. ISO 26262, SAE J3016, FMVSS) and experience in conducting safety analyses (FMEA, FMEDA) is a plus. * Expertise in complex problem solving, data analysis, access/interpret/drive results with extended teams. Preferred Qualifications * Prior experience within the Volkswagen Group, particularly in ADAS or automated driving programs. * Fluency in German is a plus. ## Description ADAS System Engineer and ADAS Function Owner is responsible for defining, developing, and managing the electrical and electronic architecture of a Scout ADAS Feature. This role bridges systems engineering, software development, and cross-functional coordination to ensure functional integration and compliance with vehicle-level requirements. Become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the electric pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following: * Design, calibrate, test, and sign-off for a Scout ADAS feature - you'll be our expert! * Collaborate with multidisciplinary and multicultural teams including electrical engineers, software developers, data scientists, and validation engineers to define system requirements and integrate ADAS features into Scout's EV platform to ensure class leading performance. * Conduct feasibility studies, simulations, and prototyping to evaluate and refine ADAS algorithms and architectures, ensuring accuracy and safety of the ADAS features. * Work with the user interface and user experience team to craft customer experiences with Scout's ADAS systems. * Participate in system-level testing, validation, and verification of ADAS features, including real-world testing and data analysis to validate system performance and compliance with regulatory standards. * Act as single point contact for ADAS features within Scout and lead feature issue tracking and resolution plan. * Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in ADAS technologies, industry trends, and regulatory requirements to drive continuous improvement. * Be Scout's innovator for new solutions that excite our customers!
