## About the Role

* At least one year of help desk or desktop-support experience preferred.
 * Knowledge of Windows, Microsoft 365, computer hardware, and printers.
 * Active Directory and ticketing-system experience is a plus.
 * Strong communication, organization, and customer-service skills.
 * CompTIA certifications and shipyard or government-contracting experience are preferred.

## Description

We are seeking an IT Help Desk Technician to provide hands-on technical support for a shipyard client in Norfolk.

Responsibilities

 * Troubleshoot computers, printers, software, email, and connectivity issues.
 * Set up employee accounts, workstations, and equipment.
 * Manage support tickets and document resolutions.
 * Track IT equipment, assignments, and returns.
 * Support Microsoft 365, Windows 10/11, and basic network issues.
 * Escalate advanced technical and cybersecurity concerns.
