## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or similar; or equivalent experience
 * 3+ years of Java programming experience
 * 3+ years of experience with AWS cloud platforms
 * 3+ years of programming experience with frontend technologies like React, Typescript, NodeJS
 * Ability to think independently and break down product requirements into well-defined tasks
 * Ability to collaborate with stakeholders to ensure development efforts align with stakeholder needs
 * Experience in monitoring production environment, troubleshooting, triaging and addressing production issues
 * Experience with CI/CD pipelines in Jenkins or similar tool
 * Experience with IaC, Terraform or similar
 * Experience with designing, building and deploying scalable, highly available systems

Bonus:

 * Experience in e-commerce
 * Experience in Python
 * Experience with modern tools and environments (e.g. version control systems, bug/issue tracking tools)

 * The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for 401k and a new hire and annual equity grant. C08+ positions may also be eligible for annual bonus.

## Description

* Partner with stakeholders and technology teams on how to best implement desired customer features and enhancements
 * Drive innovation through rapid prototyping and iterative development
 * Collaborate with Team Members to drive automated solutions to standardize methodologies, workflows, reusable modules, and tooling
 * Contribute to team's standard processes for logging, testing, instrumentation, metrics, monitors, alerts, practices, and processes
 * Conduct design and code reviews and raise the bar on engineering rigor and standard
 * You will participate in setting guidelines for evolving development practices, as well as mentoring junior engineers
 * Actively participate in scrum ceremonies such as grooming, planning, demos and retrospective
 * Participate in on-call rotations, troubleshooting production issues and improving operational excellence
