Helpful Experience * Linux administration and troubleshooting. * Server management through IPMI, Redfish, or vendor BMC platforms. * Infrastructure monitoring and alert-management platforms. * Ticketing, documentation, inventory, and infrastructure-management systems. * Basic networking concepts, including IP addressing, VLANs, interface bonding, and physical connectivity. * Writing and following MOPs, SOPs, runbooks, and escalation procedures. * Coordinating remote-hands or contractor work at distributed data center locations. * Hardware inventory management and component compatibility. * Experience supporting bare metal, hosting, cloud, network, or large-scale infrastructure environments. * Familiarity with APIs or API endpoints used to retrieve and validate operational data. ## Description As a member of Data Center Operations, you will help maintain Teraswitch infrastructure and provide operational coverage during overnight and weekend hours. You will respond to customer and internal requests, monitor active infrastructure issues, perform hands-on work at our Pittsburgh facility, and coordinate work at remote data center locations. This role requires someone who can work independently, manage multiple priorities, communicate clearly, and recognize when an issue requires immediate escalation.
