Also understanding of AT-TLS and be able to create solutions with it. * 15+ years of progressive experience in mainframe network engineering, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or lead engineering role. * Deep expertise in mainframe network technologies, including IBM z/OS, VTAM, TCP/IP, OSPF, SNA, and network security. * Strong understanding of packet analysis (Wireshark knowledge) and troubleshooting techniques for mainframe network environments. * Demonstrated success in leading large-scale mainframe network projects and engineering teams and in-depth knowledge of enterprise IT architecture, infrastructure, and operations. * Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. * Experience with regulatory compliance, risk management, and disaster recovery planning. * Proven ability to drive innovation, adapt to evolving technology landscapes, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment. * Demonstrated experience using enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment to support infrastructure engineering workflows with strong validation habits and awareness of data sensitivity. * Ability to review and validate AI-assisted recommendations before implementation, escalating when uncertain and ensuring outcomes align to resiliency, security, and auditability expectations.
