## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering or related education
 * Thorough understanding of:
 + Drafting standards, dimensioning, and tolerances
 + Mechanical power relationships such as horse power, torque, speed, ratios
 + Shaft, bearing, and power transmission design and analysis
 + Strengths of materials and structural analysis
 + ASD steel design code
 * Training and/or experience in using SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD software

## Description

A Design Engineer is responsible for completing the following duties:

 * Coordinate product design and development for equipment used in processing bulk material and aggregates
 * Design and detail custom conveying equipment
 * Perform design analysis for components
 * Create detail drawings
 * Complete bills of material
 * Evaluate and implement design changes
 * Other duties as assigned
