This position presents an opportunity for candidates that are looking to work on challenging and innovative technology across diverse areas in communications network standards. The candidate will be responsible for standards and requirements development for the support of priority services in evolving telecommunications networks. Candidate should be knowledgeable of fixed / mobile access networks, core networks, and 4G/5G/6G technologies including Long Term Evolution (LTE), Radio Access Network (RAN), Wi-Fi, Cable, and Fiber. Candidate should have experience with telecommunications services and features (e.g., voice, video, data, and messaging) and the standards protocols used to support these services and features such as IP, IMS, and SIP signaling. In addition, he/she should have specialized technical expertise in priority services (e.g., National Security Emergency Preparedness (NSEP), Government Emergency Telecommunications Service (GETS), Wireless Priority Service (WPS), Next Generation Network Priority Services (NGN-PS).
