## About the Role

* 3+ years of experience in IT Systems Administration or infrastructure roles within a corporate environment
 * Advanced proficiency with Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace
 * Strong experience with automated deployment and MDM platforms such as Intune, Mosyle, Kandji, JAMF, or equivalent for Mac and Windows
 * Solid networking knowledge, including routing, switching, VLANs, firewalls, DHCP, and DNS
 * Hands-on experience managing and troubleshooting firewall and network hardware; Cisco Meraki experience strongly preferred
 * Scripting or programming proficiency in at least one language, such as Python, Bash, PowerShell, or Go
 * Experience with identity and access management, including Microsoft Entra ID/Azure AD, Okta, or equivalent SSO/IdP platforms
 * Demonstrated ability to independently manage multi-month infrastructure or process improvement projects
 * Experience supporting video conferencing systems, including Zoom, Google Meet, and meeting room hardware
 * Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create clear technical documentation and present recommendations

## Description

Our client, a tech company, is looking for a Temporary IT Systems Administrator to assist their NYC office., * Manage device and account setup for new team members

 * Provide timely support to users and identify, research, and resolve technical issues
 * Respond to critical incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and drive permanent resolutions
 * Manage IT equipment inventory and procurement
 * Partner with HR to support smooth employee onboarding and offboarding
 * Liaise with third-party IT service providers
 * Execute long-term projects focused on improving IT infrastructure and processes
 * Manage user accounts and permissions in accordance with IT security policies and standards
 * Perform and improve ongoing maintenance activities, including backups, patch management, license audits, and monitoring
 * Create and maintain IT documentation and internal knowledge bases
 * Document current IT processes and identify opportunities for improvement
 * Assist with management of firewalls and other office network infrastructure
 * Monitor infrastructure for threats and anomalies and lead response and remediation efforts
