## About the Role

* 2-5 years of professional experience as a backend engineer, ideally in a fast-paced startup environment.
 * Proficiency in TypeScript for backend development (open to other languages).
 * Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or similar cloud infrastructure.
 * Expertise in distributed systems, API integration, and cloud-hosted applications.
 * Proven track record of building and scaling backend systems to support rapid growth.

Nice-to-Haves:

 * Previous experience as a software engineer for trading, investing, or fintech platforms.
 * Previous experience working in hyper-growth start up.
 * Experience with integrations involving platforms like Robinhood, Stripe, Plaid, or similar platforms/apps.
 * Familiarity with AWS, GCP, or other cloud infrastructure.
 * Passion for building user-centered solutions and delivering impact.
 * A self-starter mentality with strong ownership and problem-solving skills.
 * Experience with some of these backend tech stacks: node.js, typescript, graphql, nest.js, gcp, google pubsub, postgres sql, etc., Candidates must be currently authorized to work in the United States. ## Description

* Design, build, and maintain robust backend systems that power our trading platform and integrate with major U.S. brokerages.
 * Lead the development of our pilot portal, enabling seamless user interactions for data input, persistence, and broker integration.
 * Reverse-engineer undocumented APIs and implement distributed systems that scale as we grow.
 * Collaborate with frontend engineers, product managers, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, user-centric solutions.
 * Drive impact in a hands-on capacity, directly contributing to a rapidly growing and innovative company.
