Agent guide: [/agents.md](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/agents.md). --- # ERP Application Manager - Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central - **Company:** Mobile Union Incorporation - **Location:** United States (Remote available) - **Contract:** Temporary contract - **Skills:** System Configuration, Microsoft Dynamics NAV, Microsoft Dynamics, Microsoft Business Central - **Published:** August 11, 2026 - **Apply:** https://www.indeed.com/viewjob?jk=587a63392f343341 ## About the Role * Strong commercial experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. * Hands-on experience supporting a live Business Central environment after go-live. * Experience working within a manufacturing environment. * Strong knowledge of: + Production Orders + Bills of Materials (BOM) + Routings + Work Centers + Capacity Planning + Inventory Costing * Experience supporting multi-site or multi-location organizations. * Strong understanding of finance and operational business processes, including month-end close. * Ability to communicate effectively with both manufacturing personnel and executive stakeholders. * Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. * Strong ownership mindset with the ability to work independently. * Good spoken and written English., * Experience in metal fabrication, steel manufacturing, or other discrete manufacturing industries. * Previous experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV. * Experience with manufacturing ISV add-ons. * Familiarity with EDI integrations and shop floor data collection solutions. * Experience supporting subcontract manufacturing processes such as plating, galvanizing, heat treatment, or powder coating. * Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central certification. ## Description This is a business-critical role for someone who enjoys solving complex operational challenges, improving manufacturing processes, and becoming the internal expert responsible for the company's ERP ecosystem., * Own and manage the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central environment. * Serve as the primary internal expert for Business Central configuration, functionality, and best practices. * Maintain system configuration and ensure long-term platform stability. * Act as the main point of contact for ERP-related questions across the organization. System Stabilization & Operational Support * Investigate and resolve issues related to production posting, inventory accuracy, manufacturing processes, order flow, and inventory costing. * Perform root cause analysis and implement sustainable long-term solutions. * Establish monitoring and exception reporting processes to proactively identify issues before month-end. * Support Finance during month-end close activities, with a focus on inventory valuation and work-in-progress (WIP). Manufacturing Process Optimization * Support and optimize manufacturing modules including: + Production Orders + Bills of Materials (BOMs) + Routings + Work Centers + Capacity Planning + Inventory Costing * Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency through better ERP utilization. * Drive continuous process improvements across manufacturing and finance operations. User Training & Documentation * Build and maintain comprehensive Business Central documentation. * Develop training materials and end-user guides. * Establish and mentor a network of Business Central superusers across all company locations. * Provide functional support and knowledge sharing to business users.
