Requirements * At least 15 years of experience designing and developing embedded hardware systems. * Minimum of 5 years leading engineering organizations or product development teams. * Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field; an advanced degree is preferred. * Strong command of the end-to-end hardware development process, including design, system integration, testing, qualification, and manufacturing support. * Proven background building rugged embedded hardware for aerospace, defense, or similarly regulated industries. * Deep knowledge of embedded computing architectures involving CPUs, GPUs, FPGAs, and high-speed interfaces. * Experience working with embedded Linux environments, development toolchains, version control platforms, and hardware design or simulation tools. * Ability to produce and interpret interface control documents, system architecture materials, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications while communicating effectively with technical and executive audiences. This role will guide engineering teams through the full product lifecycle, from concept development and architecture definition to validation and production readiness. The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise in embedded computing and a strong leadership background in highly regulated environments such as aerospace or defense.
