As a Senior UX Principal within our Online team, you will help define and shape the future of our online customer journey, leading large-scale experience initiatives that blend strategic vision, customer insight, and outstanding visual design execution. This role is ideal for a design leader who is equally comfortable thinking years ahead and bringing ideas to life through polished, customer-centered design. You possess exceptional visual design craft, a strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end UX thinking, and a passion for creating intuitive, engaging experiences that help customers discover, explore, and confidently move toward purchase. As a senior member/leader of the Online UX organization, you will lead the design vision across critical customer-facing experiences, partnering closely with Product, Engineering, Research, Content Design, and business stakeholders to identify opportunities, validate concepts, and deliver innovative solutions. You can move fluidly between ambiguity and execution, using research, data, prototyping, and design exploration to shape future-state experiences while influencing current product strategy. You have deep expertise in visual design, interaction design, information hierarchy, and modern design systems. You understand how thoughtful design can inspire customers, strengthen brand affinity, and drive business outcomes. You are highly skilled in communicating ideas visually, developing compelling concepts, and elevating the overall quality and consistency of experiences across multiple teams and product areas. The ideal candidate is a hands-on design leader who thrives in collaborative environments, welcomes feedback, and mentors other designers through both strategic guidance and demonstrated craft excellence. You are comfortable taking informed risks, working through ambiguity, and championing a clear point of view while balancing customer needs, business goals, and technical constraints. The User Experience Senior Principal operates with a high degree of autonomy and influence, driving innovation through iterative research, design exploration, and cross-functional partnership. This role supports multiple product teams within a customer experience domain and serves as a key thought leader in defining future customer experiences, establishing design standards, and raising the overall level of design excellence across the organization. This position typically reports to a Director or Senior Director of User Experience., * 35% Delivery & Execution - Models & ensures consistency of deliverables across domains; Leads synthesis and facilitation activities; Delivers UX strategy artifacts. (e.g. experience maps, service blueprints, etc.) * 20% People - Develops and mentors principals (and future principals) on strategy, planning and innovative practices; Helps UX leadership align resources to products based on skillset and product team needs; Attracts, retains, develops, and motivates top talent * 45% Strategy & Planning - Partnering with Product, Development, other UX resources & business stakeholders across multiple domains; Drives UX practice across multiple domains; Drives vision & purpose: Combines user research with OGSMs or OKRs of partners to clearly articulate the vision of their experiences & drive alignment with partners in solutions across an end-to-end customer experience; Clearly communicates insights & opportunities & drives value across domains that gives insight into customer back approach Direct Manager/Direct Reports: * This position typically reports to Technology Director or Sr. Director * Can have 2-5 principals or individual contributors as direct reports. Travel Requirements: * Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time. Physical Requirements: * Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about.
