This position involves implementing Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) for network monitoring and security compliance to detect and prevent anomalous activities. The role also focuses on automating and improving business processes related to ACAS.How an ACAS Technician will Make an Impact:Primary Responsibilities:Configuration of discovery, vulnerability, and compliance scansValidation of correct scan execution and automated reportingReview of discovery scan results to identify systems not being vulnerability scanned and automated reportingReview of vulnerability scan results to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve credential and other common scan issues, and automated reportingReview and compile scan results to support asset inventory requirements and automationWork closely with system administrators to maintain a minimum 98% credentialed access to all systemsAssessment of scan results to identify areas where vulnerability remediation has the greatest impact on risk and automated reportingConfiguration of ACAS components to align with DISA best practice guidanceTroubleshooting and resolution of communications issues between ACAS software components, failed plugin updates, and other common software issuesAutomated reporting to external organizations via built-in publishing featureMaintain automated ACAS reporting to CMRSConduct new hardware and software audits to confirm cyber hygiene of new systems before they are deployed to productionProvide ACAS scanning support for Risk Management Framework authorizationsBrief leadership weekly on vulnerability finding results across the enterprise Other Duties: Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
