## About the Role

* A four-year college degree is preferred or two-year degree along with safety experience.
 * Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and/or OSHA certification required.
 * Organizational skills required.
 * Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point applications.
 * Ability to work independently, development of power point presentations for employees as well as management, and speak in front of large groups of people.
 * Experience in training lift truck operators a plus and post high school training in safety and/or ergonomics preferred.

Additional Information

 * Position located in New Knoxville, Ohio: 07587 State Rt 219, New Knoxville, OH 45871.
 * 1st Shift - Monday through Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM with 2nd and 3rd shift support as needed.

## Description

* Manage and monitor programs that ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
 * Implement, investigate, and maintain accident prevention activities in the plant.
 * Maintain safety compliance within the plant.
 * Coordinate and conduct safety training.
 * Implement, participate in, and maintain plant-based safety teams.
 * Coordinate the investigation of safety-related incidents.
 * Lead monthly safety-related meetings, review employee surveys, and provide feedback regarding status of employee continuous improvement (CI) safety suggestions.
 * Monitor on-going legal and regulatory plant compliance with all existing company safety and health programs.
