The role will work cross-functionally to identify and resolve defects and ensure that products meet performance, reliability and user experience standards. * Derive / verify customer test specifications * Maintain and utilize computer software programs for test data acquisition, reduction, plotting and tracking * Plan and conduct tests of Diesel Engines, Cross drive transmissions, and other Powertrain equipment * Write and maintain and make improvements to Renk test procedures and standards. * Prepare test documentation and customer presentations. * Design and specify control systems for test cell operation, test fixtures and test equipment including system design, software and sensor selection, panel lay-out and schematic development. * Work with test technicians in the operation and maintenance / upgrade of test equipment. * Introduce new concepts for test engineering. * Work closely with internal test customers.
