## About the Role

We are seeking a Technician: Platform / Validation - III to join our onsite team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in PC and server hardware assembly and debugging, Linux installation and administration, and high-speed networking and a proven ability to execute rack buildouts, maintain lab infrastructure, and resolve connectivity issues for remote users., * 5+ years installing, running, and administering Linux operating systems.

 * Hands-on experience building and debugging PC and server hardware platforms.
 * Working knowledge of high-speed networking and rack-level cabling.
 * Ability to support remote users and resolve connectivity issues.
 * Good verbal and written communication skills.
 * High school diploma or GED equivalent required for US candidates.
 * At least 5 years of related work experience.

Preferred Skills:

 * Familiarity with lab environments and VM administration.
 * Knowledge of Intel inventory system (ISMP) and Intel shipping system (ISM).

## Description

* Build and configure server systems, including installing cards and components.
 * Execute wiring changes and install servers within data center racks.
 * Install, update, and maintain Linux operating systems on lab and production hosts.
 * Debug PC hardware platforms and validate platform functionality.
 * Support remote users and troubleshoot connectivity and access issues.
 * Follow technical directions and standard operating procedures accurately.
