Education, Training and Experience: * Minimum of associate's degree or industry certifications required. Bachelor's degree preferred. * 2-3 years of technology experience, with POS and retail experience preferred. * Demonstrated knowledge of the installation, configuration, and maintenance of modern computer, network, and software systems. Specifically, Windows (7, 8.1, & 10), Windows Server (2008 R2 & 2012 R2), Active Directory, Microsoft Office 2010, security hardware and software, backup hardware and software, and network hardware. * Certificates & Licenses: Microsoft and CompTIA certifications preferredHigh school degree or equivalent, preferred Special Requirements: * Must be able to work occasional after-hours and weekends. * Incumbent must possess a valid driver's license, appropriate insurance coverage and a privately owned reliable means of transportation to travel throughout territory to visit locations. * Ability to bend, reach and stand, and lift up to twenty-five pounds on an occasional basis. ## Description To support the activities of the IT Department to maximize profitability and provide training to team members to support the organization's mission Function: Under the general leadership of the IT Manager, the IT technician is responsible for performing a variety of duties that support MGI's software installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair on hardware, software and related equipment.
