This role is critical to ensuring our product listings, site pages, and content are accurate, up-to-date, well-organized, and optimized, while also supporting new hire training and cross-team collaboration., Product Listings & Content * Create new product listings: Build out complete, accurate product pages from the ground up whenever a new product launches, ensuring all required fields and assets are in place before going live. * Upload renders: Source and upload approved product renders/images to the appropriate listings, ensuring correct file formats, sizing, and placement. * Work closely with the content team on photo shoots: Coordinate with the content/photography team ahead of shoots to confirm exactly which product angles, use cases, and image types are needed to properly represent each product on its PDP. * Verify correct SFPs/product information: Cross-check specification/formulation/packaging (SFP) details and general product information against approved source documents to catch errors before publishing. * PDP page copy/upload: Write and/or upload the final product description page copy, ensuring brand voice, accuracy, and formatting are consistent across listings. * Manage page elements: Build out and adjust the visual/structural components of a product page (image blocks, comparison charts, callouts, etc.) beyond just the core copy. * Categorization and sorting: Assign products to the correct categories/collections and determine their sort order within those categories so customers can find them logically. * Meta details: Write and input meta titles, meta descriptions, and URL slugs for each product page to support SEO and search visibility. * Product tagging: Apply consistent, accurate tags to products so they surface correctly in filters, search, and related-product logic. * URL creation and distribution: Create clean, SEO-friendly URLs for new pages/products and share them with relevant teams (marketing, customer service, etc.) once live. Maintaining Existing Listings * Maintain old product listings: Regularly review live listings to ensure information stays accurate and current as products, packaging, or claims change. * Copy updates: Revise product copy when formulas, claims, compliance requirements, or marketing direction change. * Render updates: Swap out or refresh product images when packaging, branding, or renders are updated. * SFP updates: Update specification/formulation/packaging details on existing listings whenever a product is reformulated or repackaged. * New site element implementation: Roll out new design or functional elements (badges, banners, comparison tools, etc.) across existing product pages as they're introduced. * Delayed shipping/other shipping notifications: Add and remove shipping delay notices or other shipping-related alerts on product pages or site-wide as needed. * Disclaimer adjustments: Update legal or compliance disclaimers on product pages as guidance from legal/compliance changes. * Maintain product categories: Periodically review and reorganize product categories to keep them intuitive as the catalog grows or changes. * Sorting: Adjust the order products appear within categories/collections based on priority, performance, or promotional needs. Site & Homepage Maintenance * Maintain site pages/home page: Keep the homepage and key landing pages current, functional, and aligned with what's being promoted at any given time. * Highlight new releases: Ensure newly launched products are visibly featured on the homepage and other relevant site placements. * Update site blocks as needed: Update homepage/site content blocks whenever changes are needed, and check at least once a week to ensure nothing is outdated, broken, or displaying incorrect information. * Cart upsells: Set up and maintain upsell offers shown to customers at checkout to increase average order value. * Aftersells: Manage post-purchase offers or recommendations shown after checkout is complete. * Additional pages: Build and maintain supporting pages such as the About page and retail store locator/page. * Homepage banners for sales/promotions/new products: Coordinate with design to get properly sized, on-brand banners created for active promotions, sales events, and new product launches, and get them live on schedule. Blog Management * Maintain the blog/upload new posts: Publish new blog content on schedule and ensure the blog stays active and current. * Blog project management: Track blog content in progress, manage deadlines, and keep the content calendar organized. * Promo blog creation: Create blog posts specifically tied to promotions or sales events. * Blog site structure/maintenance: Maintain logical blog categories, navigation, and internal linking so content stays organized and discoverable. * Identify SEO opportunities within the blog: Research keyword and content gaps to identify new blog topics or optimization opportunities that can drive organic traffic. * Write blog copy at Gina's (Director of E-Commerce) direction using AI tools: Draft blog content using AI tools based on direction/briefs provided by the Director of E-Commerce. DAM/PIM Management * Overall DAM/PIM management: Own the day-to-day management of the Digital Asset Management and Product Information Management systems, ensuring they remain accurate and usable across teams. * General DAM structure: Establish and maintain a logical folder/file structure so assets are easy to locate. * Proper tagging/searchability: Apply consistent naming conventions and tags to assets so team members can quickly find what they need. * Archive old labels and logos: Move outdated labels, logos, and brand assets into archive folders rather than deleting them, keeping the active library clean. * Find better ways to organize content: Proactively identify and implement improvements to how content and assets are structured and stored. Training & Operations * Train new hires: Onboard new team members on relevant systems, tools, and processes related to this role's responsibilities. * Spot-check for SOP compliance: Periodically audit completed work (listings, uploads, tagging, etc.) to confirm SOPs are being followed correctly. * Manage general FAQs: Keep internal and/or customer-facing FAQ content accurate and current. * Manage employee accounts: Add new employees and deactivate departing employees' accounts within the DAM system. ## Related Videos - [Kill Your WordPress.
