Preferred: * Hands-on experience with LoRaWAN network servers such as ChirpStack, The Things Stack, or AWS IoT Core for LoRaWAN. * Familiarity with CBOR, WDP, or custom binary protocol design for low-power IoT devices. * Experience in energy management, building automation, or commercial/industrial IoT deployments. * Background developing application firmware for multi-protocol platforms (LoRaWAN combined with Wi-Fi, BLE, or Cellular). * Experience supporting RF certification processes (FCC, LoRa Alliance). * Familiarity with Git-based collaborative workflows and Agile methodologies. ## Description Are you an experienced IoT Engineer with a deep passion for wireless protocols and sustainable technology? We are seeking a Senior IoT Engineer to lead the architecture and execution of our next-generation LoRaWAN integration. In this role, you will own the LoRaWAN stack end-to-end, evaluating network server solutions, designing integration architectures, and driving hardware platforms from initial bring-up all the way through production validation in commercial environments. What You Will Do LoRaWAN Integration & Architecture * Lead the evaluation and selection of LoRaWAN network server solutions (on-premise and cloud-hosted). * Design and implement an end-to-end LoRaWAN integration architecture across embedded devices, gateways, network servers, and cloud application layers. * Own channel plan definitions, device provisioning, and join/session management. * Develop application firmware integration for LoRaWAN-connected devices in close collaboration with the embedded firmware team. * Drive bring-up, Design Verification Testing (DVT), and production validation of wireless hardware platforms. Platform & Cloud Integration * Integrate LoRaWAN network server data into our cloud platform and application firmware stack. * Build and maintain device management, Over-The-Air (OTA) firmware update, and telemetry pipelines for wireless IoT devices. * Partner with application firmware engineers on protocol design, data modeling, and API contracts between embedded and cloud layers. Engineering Excellence * Contribute to core wireless platform architecture decisions alongside Principal and Lead Engineers. * Define and document integration interfaces, protocol specifications, and system test plans. * Perform full-stack system debugging across RF, MAC, network server, and application layers. * Support RF and industry certification activities for LoRaWAN-connected products., You will work alongside senior industry experts on real-world deployments that directly impact energy efficiency and sustainability.
