## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Master's degree preferred)
 * Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT management, preferably in a non-profit or social services setting
 * Strong knowledge and experience with networking, telecommunications, servers, and cloud-based systems
 * Proficient in project management, system administration, and creating and managing budgets
 * Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team of professionals

 * Certifications such as ITIL, PMP, or Microsoft or Cisco are a plus

## Description

* Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure optimal use and security of our systems and technology
 * Evaluate and recommend new technologies, software, and hardware to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness
 * Lead the planning, budgeting, and implementation of IT projects and initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and within allocated resources
 * Oversee the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of hardware, software, and networking systems, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity
 * Manage and provide technical support to end-users, addressing any IT-related issues and ensuring adequate training and resources are available
 * Collaborate with other departments to identify and address technology needs, and effectively communicate with staff at all levels to understand and meet their requirements
 * Stay updated with industry trends, advancements, and regulations in IT, and make recommendations for improvement and compliance
 * Oversee the security and protection of the organization's data, network, and systems, and implement disaster recovery plans as needed
 * Manage and negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers, ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery of services
 * Lead and supervise a team of IT professionals, providing guidance, support, and fostering a positive and productive work environment
