Teaching schedule varies between day, evening, and/or weekends on multiple campuses., Must be CISCO certified or be willing to complete the CISCO certification upon hiring. Bachelor's degree with a major in subject field and two (2) years of full-time college teaching experience, and one (1) year of related full-time work experience or Bachelor's degree with a major in subject field and four (4) years of full-time related work experience. PREFERRED: Master's degree in the subject field or a master's degree with at least thirty (30) approved graduate semester hours in the subject field and related fields. Five (5) years of full-time related work experience and prefer Industry certification(s) related to courses assigned. Community College teaching experience and demonstrated ability to work effectively with students, faculty and staff of diverse socioeconomic, cultural and racial/ethnic backgrounds, as well as diverse abilities/disabilities and sexual preferences. ## Description ****This is an onsite position located in the St. Louis, Missouri area. Candidates should apply only if they are able to be physically present and available to work onsite by the start date**** Teach a wide range of courses in Information Technology programs such as Unix/Linux, Hardware and Software, Cisco Networking Academy including VoIP and Firewalls, Microsoft Server, NMware, Cloud, AI, or Cybersecurity classes. There is a potential to teach a wide range of courses in Computer and Information Technology programs, such as Computer Programming (C#, C++, Java, Python, etc), Database, Scripting, Web Development, Version Control, Computer Application (MS Office, Project Management), and Software and Hardware Architecture. Assists in maintaining instructional equipment, helps develop curriculum, and participates in department and college committees. Industry recognized certifications required to teach some courses. Teaching schedules vary between day, evening, and/or weekends. May assume a departmental leadership role.
