Physical Requirements/Environment

The Monterey Institute maintains a smoke-free/drug-free workplace. Job requires ability to sit for extended periods of time, ability to handle lightweight parcels and supplies, dexterity for repetitive action such as keyboarding, writing.

## Description

Under supervision of the TIN program chair and CACS advisor, the TIN GA provides support for the TIN program chair and CACS advisor. This is a non-exempt, temporary part time staff position., * Works with CACS advisor and/or NPTS GA to compile a weekly "Opportunity" newsletter for NPTI students with relevant announcements and job/internship openings.

 * Assists TIN program chair as needed.
 * Updates TIN Job/Internship folder and spreadsheet as needed.
 * Updates tracking spreadsheet with faculty and student accomplishments, such as publications or conference presentations.
 * Serves as a liaison between the program chair and TIN students.
 * Supports end of the semester program reception for graduating students.
 * Acts as representative of TIN program to prospective students as needed., Performs other related duties as requested by Program.
