High School Diploma/GED equivalent, two years related experience which includes one year office/clerical experience; Or any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved., * Skilled in both verbal and written communication.

## Description

Insuring Technician is responsible for the review and endorsement of closed government loans, as well as providing customer service to our branch staff, file management, processing various payments, creating
reports for various agencies, and contacting government agencies, when necessary, completes loan close out of repair loans, contacts third parties for various documentation, fee reconciliation for title and recording charges at time of loan closing.

Essential Job Functions

 * File review of closed loans for FHA and VA loan insuring.
 * Entering loan information into FHA and VA websites to generate loan Insured Certificate.
 * Determining if adjustments to the loan amount are necessary, submitting those reductions to the appropriate investor and advising the borrower of said reductions.
 * Working with FHA and VA staff to resolve issues as necessary.
 * Reviewing a variety of automated reports used for loan insuring.
 * Maintaining strict turn times on loan insuring while working within Government Agency guidelines.
 * Communication with branch staff, corporate employees, escrow, title, appraiser and third-party vendors for file integrity and follow up documentation.
 * Completing the transfer of loan holders and servicing rights to purchasing lender.
 * Completing payments of Government Insurance premiums as needed.
 * Creating loan files for submission to FHA and VA as required for technical reviews.
 * Mortgage Credit Certificate final file review-submission to appropriate agency.
 * Uniform Closing Dataset file submission to FreddieMac and FannieMae.
 * Repair holdback loan close out, payment to contractors, sellers, and borrowers. Advising purchasing investor of close out and submitting documentation to them.
 * Title and Recording Fee reconciliation.
 * Assist with special jobs/tasks/projects as necessary.
