## About the Role

+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Data Science, or related field

 + Minimum 5 years of professional experience in full-stack software development

 + Demonstrated experience developing modern web applications using React or similar (front-end) and Python and/or Node.js (backend) technologies

 + Experience developing and deploying cloud-native applications in AWS environments

 + Demonstrated experience supporting at least one production-grade AI or machine learning implementation

 + Experience integrating APIs, asynchronous processing, and scalable backend services

 + Understanding of software security principles and secure cloud architecture practices

 + Experience with DevSecOps concepts and modern software delivery practices

 + Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills

 + Excellent written and verbal communication skills

 + CompTIA Security+ certification required

Desired Skills & Experience

 + Experience with Amazon Bedrock or other enterprise generative AI platforms

 + Experience implementing RAG architectures, AI agents, or orchestration frameworks

 + Familiarity with vector databases, embeddings, and AI evaluation techniques

 + Experience optimizing AI model usage for performance and cost efficiency

## Description

cBEYONData a subsidiary of SMX is seeking a Full Stack AI Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable AI-enabled web applications and cloud-native solutions leveraging AWS technologies. The ideal candidate is a strong systems thinker with experience across front-end development, backend services, cloud infrastructure, and emerging AI technologies. This role will support the development of modern AI-powered applications, integrations, and automation capabilities while ensuring scalability, security, and operational efficiency in a high-tempo environment. This role is hybrid supporting a Hanover, MD program, + Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack web applications using modern frameworks and cloud-native architectures

 + Build and maintain user interfaces using React and related front-end technologies

 + Develop backend services, APIs, serverless functions, and integrations using Python and/or Node.js

 + Integrate AI and machine learning services such as Amazon Bedrock and other large language model (LLM) platforms into enterprise applications

 + Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), agentic AI workflows, and AI orchestration capabilities

 + Optimize AI model prompts, monitor model performance, and support cost-efficient AI solution design

 + Support deployment automation, monitoring, troubleshooting, and operational sustainment of AI-enabled systems

 + Collaborate with engineers, product owners, and stakeholders to deliver scalable and secure solutions

 + Ensure compliance with cybersecurity requirements and cloud governance best practices utilizing AWS IAM, security guardrails, and related controls

 + Support DevSecOps activities including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and cloud cost management
