## About the Role

* Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Computer Science or a closely related field preferred but not required
 * Minimum of 7 years IT technician / network / help desk experience required
 * Experience in a manufacturing environment a plus
 * Experience with Azure/Hyper-V a plus
 * Must be able to independently troubleshoot and repair computer hardware including desktop computers, laptops, printers and the like
 * Must be fully capable of resolving technical issues with the Windows operating systems and basic network issues
 * Must be able to take on call every four weeks
 * Must have a current TWIC Card

## Description

As our Help Desk Support Specialist, you are responsible for providing a point of contact for end users to receive support and maintenance within the organization's desktop computing environment. To be successful in this position, you must have excellent analytical skills and the ability to meet deadlines, multi-task and set priorities.
Position Key Areas of Responsibility

 * Installing, diagnosing, repairing, and upgrading all PCs and provide end-user assistance
 * Troubleshoot and resolve end-user issues related to computer desktop applications such as the Microsoft Office Suite
 * Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to desktop/laptop computers and peripherals
 * Perform desktop and laptop re-imaging tasks
 * Install computer operating systems such as Windows 10 & 11
 * Install business software applications such as MS Office
 * Maintain system inventory logs
