## About the Role

To be eligible for this demanding position, the ideal candidate should demonstrate the following experience and qualifications:

Required Education and Years of Experience:

 * 10 Years of experience in Systems Administration roles or a highly related field of work with similar scope and responsibilities.
 * A Bachelor's degree may be substituted for 4 years of experience and a Master's Degree may be substituted for 6 years of experience., * TS/SCI with an active CI Polygraph
 * Strong understanding of computer systems, networks, servers, and end-user technologies
 * Knowledge of Windows, macOS, and/or Linux operating systems
 * Familiarity with help desk ticketing systems and IT service management (ITSM) tools
 * Understanding of network protocols, email systems, firewalls, and backup solutions
 * Experience with Active Directory, virtualization, and cloud technologies
 * Willingness and ability to work flexible schedules, including potential shift work, * Industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA Server+, Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator, Red Hat Certified System Administrator)
 * Proven leadership and team management abilities
 * Strong customer service orientation and communication skills
 * Excellent problem-solving and analytical capabilities
 * Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and manage competing demands
 * Experience with ITSM platforms (ServiceNow, Remedy, Jira Service Management)
 * Data center management experience

## Description

BI&A is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to be responsible for managing technical support operations and leads a team providing 24/7 assistance to computer system and network users. Oversees help desk services, may include data center management, and ensures efficient resolution of IT issues while maintaining service level agreements.
