This position will be located at Palmdale, CA . Please note this is an individual contributor role and is not a management/leadership opportunity. The successful candidate is expected to be a highly motivated, resourceful, self-starter able to work collaboratively with internal and external teams in high-tempo environments. This position will be expected to assist with reviewing status of projects and budgets, resource planning, preparing for and facilitating meetings, and supporting various administrative functions. Day to Day Duties * Database & Query Optimization: Manage, maintain, and secure SQL databases. Write, troubleshoot, and optimize complex SQL queries to ensure high performance and data availability. * ETL Pipeline Development: Design, develop, and manage automated ETL processes to ingest and transform complex engineering and business datasets. * Metrics & BI Visualization: Define, track, and build interactive dashboards in Tableau and/or PowerBI to clearly communicate technical metrics to technical and non-technical stakeholders. * Python Automation: Write and deploy advanced Python scripts using Airflow for data manipulation, analysis, and process automation. * Collaborative Development & Agile: Utilize Gitlab for version control, code reviews, and collaborative development within an agile/scrum framework. * Creates data mining architectures/models/protocols, statistical reporting, and data analysis methodologies to identify trends in large data sets. Analysis may have many applications such as to address a business issue or provide a competitive advantage for the organization.
