BS/BA and 7+ years or MS/MA/MBA and 5+ years or PhD/Doctorate and 3+ years. * Hands on experience in mobile application development (Swift, Kotlin, React Native, or Flutter). * Proficiency in RESTful APIs, mobile security protocols, and cloud-based backend services (e.g., AWS GovCloud, Azure Government). * Knowledge of mobile data storage and testing frameworks. * Demonstrated ability to develop software solutions for complex, high-stakes operational environments., * Experience developing applications for federal law enforcement or defense agencies. * Knowledge of mobile device management (MDM) solutions and secure containerization. * Experience with offline-first application architecture for use in remote or low-connectivity areas. * Familiarity with Agile/DevSecOps methodologies. * Experience with Atlassian suite of tools such as Jira and Confluence. Clearance Requirements: * Must be a U.S. citizen with a current/active Top-Secret clearance and the ability to obtain and maintain DHS CBP suitability prior to starting this position. Physical Requirements: * The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. ## Description The Mobile Application Developer will design, develop, and maintain secure, high-performance mobile applications. These applications are critical to supporting U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) personnel in the field, facilitating the secure processing of aliens, and enhancing the agency's ability to detect and deter illegal immigration.
