## About the Role

* B.S. in physics, math, engineering, computer science, or a related field; M.S. or Ph.D. desired
 * Substantial software development experience
 * Familiarity with state-of-the-art radio frequency or laser modeling and simulation tools
 * Ability to implement, understand, and maintain mathematical and scientific codes
 * Object-oriented design and programming in C++
 * U.S. citizenship + willingness to undergo background investigation and perform some work at customer sites

Experience in any of the following is a plus:

 * Directed energy modeling and simulation experience
 * RF or laser source, propagation and target effects modeling
 * Cross-platform software development on Linux and Windows
 * 3D graphics, ray tracing, and physics-based rendering
 * User interface development with Qt
 * Supercomputing, CUDA, OpenMP, MPI
