## About the Role

Key skills needed:

 * Deep hands on Power BI development experience (DAX, Power Query, data modeling).
 * Strong troubleshooting skills for dataset refresh issues, gateways, permissions, and performance.
 * Ability to support tenants with challenges in implementing Power BI capabilities.
 * Confident communicator with excellent presentation skills to lead COE office hours and user education sessions.
 * Solid SQL skills and comfort working with technical and business partners.
 * Self starter who can provide guidance, best practices, and help drive Power BI adoption., * 5+ years Power BI report/dashboard development experience (DAX, Power Query, modeling, report design).
 * Strong troubleshooting experience supporting Enterprise BI environments.
 * Excellent presentation and communication skills; comfortable leading sessions and office hours.
 * Strong problem solving mindset and ability to work independently.
 * Experience working in Agile environments.

Preferred Qualifications

 * Experience with Power BI Premium and Microsoft Fabric capacities.
 * Experience supporting or contributing to a BI Center of Excellence (COE).
 * Knowledge of SSRS modernization and migration to Power BI / PBIRS.
 * Experience mentoring developers or leading BI training sessions.
 * Familiarity with enterprise BI governance, RLS/OLS, and secure data practices.
