## About the Role

* Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Computer Information Systems)
 * 2-5+ years of experience in IT support or infrastructure
 * Strong communication skills, including the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams
 * Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
 * Familiarity with operating systems and file structures
 * Ability to lift up to 35 lbs occasionally
 * Qualified applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Steelcase will not provide support for or sponsor work authorization and/or visas for this role.

 * Technical aptitude and proactive approach to learning systems
 * Knowledge of desktop hardware, operating systems, and configurations

 * Update desktop environments and provide advanced troubleshooting
 * Collaborate with developers and design/build teams to support application changes
 * Monitor and troubleshoot server, network and database performance
 * Day to day support for all technology related to manufacturing operations including robots, PLCs and other automated machinery
 * Manage daily processing of business applications and resolve or escalate issues
 * Log and escalate incidents, aiming to reduce future escalations through documentation
 * Maintain technical documentation for procedures and instructions
 * Work 1st shift manufacturing hours (6:30am to 3pm) and participate in a rotating 24/7 on-call support schedule, including nights and weekends
