You will collaborate with a large breadth of cross-functional disciplines to understand emerging designs, processes, and technologies, identifying and mitigating risks associated with these various technologies and architectures. The ideal candidate has a strong background in reliability engineering, aptitude for managing through ambiguity, high attention to detail, a thirst for knowledge, and an inherent interest in all aspects of engineering., Education: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Materials Science, or other related technical field or equivalent experience. Experience: 7+ years of hands-on reliability, test, or product validation engineering experience in consumer electronics. Practical experience with failure analysis and root-cause methodologies, and with driving defects to closure across engineering disciplines. Technical Skills: 5+ years of experience with JMP, Python, Matlab, or equivalent. Knowledge of industry test standards including ASTM, MIL, JEDEC, and IEC. Knowledge of failure analysis techniques including optical microscopy, X-Ray, CT scan, SEM, EDX, and FTIR.
