Experience: 1+ years of related experience.

Technical Skills:

 * Experience in full life-cycle development.
 * Java application development or alternate object-oriented development experience.
 * Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments.
 * Experience with software implementation of mathematical algorithms.
 * Basic experience in the design and development of complex mathematical algorithms.
 * Experience with problem-solving, including the ability to review system behavior issues, identify the root cause, and recommend a solution.

General Skills:

 * Verbal and written communication skills.
 * Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment., * Knowledge of developing software within an agile development process, including work decomposition and leadership during sprint planning.
 * Experience developing software and/or algorithms in a structured, process-based integrated team environment.
 * Knowledge of developing software within a DEVSECOPS framework for Java-based applications in a Unix/Linux platform environment.
 * Additional experience with MATLAB.

## Description

* Generate software design artifacts and implement Java-based software changes.
 * Support design and code reviews.
 * Participate in software testing and resolve issues identified during testing.
 * Present developed designs to stakeholders.
 * Actively participate in agile planning and execution.
 * Work with multiple disciplinary teams, including Systems Engineering, Integration and Test, and Deployment.
