Do you agree to this requirement? ## Description NCDIT-Transportation (NCDIT-T) Infrastructure Team is seeking a Cloud Engineer - Expert that will support the ongoing DMV NCMAX Cloud infrastructure build. * The candidate will need to come on-site on the first day to collect equipment. Probably first week to get brought up to speed and process in * All candidates must be local to the Triangle region of North Carolina. * This position may require on site attendance when business needs warrant in person participation, such as scheduled meetings or other task specific activities. * **STATEWIDE TRAVEL REQUIRED** As a contractor the selected candidate will have to use their own vehicle; state vehicles are not permitted to be driven by contractors. NCDIT-Transportation (NCDIT-T) Infrastructure Team is seeking a Cloud Engineer - Expert that will support the ongoing DMV NCMAX Cloud infrastructure build. The primary focus is to help NCDIT-T understand the architecture and be a bridge between NCDIT-T and the vendors with their knowledge of Cloud infrastructure networking, storage and security. The complexity of these responsibilities are essential to NCDIT-T to support the building of the Azure tenant from scratch so that DMV systems can be placed in the cloud. NCDIT-T and DMV have an aggressive schedule to get this done to support the DMV modernization efforts.
