A bachelor's degree in computer science or related field may substitute for one (1) year of experience. * Experience with Identity Management tools like Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM), EntraID or other cloud identity systems. * Development and configuration experience with Identity Systems * Directory synchronization Experience with technologies such as with Oracle/Sun Identity Manager, Microsoft Identity manager (MIM), Microsoft Active Directory, EntraID. * Development experience with Java EE, Modern Scripting languages, and SQL * Demonstrate initiative and have excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Demonstrate well developed project management/leadership skills. Preferred Qualification * Federation services including OAuth2, Shibboleth, and Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML) * Web Access Managers & web application development * System integration experience with Minnesota State's ISRS & Workday ERP * Background in higher education or State government agencies * Experience with current 3rd party cloud Identity Systems. ## Description The ITS5-Security, Identity Management Specialist will play a leadership role in the development, deployment and administration of applications used as part of Minnesota State Colleges and Universities Enterprise Access Management strategic initiatives. This includes providing highly skilled subject matter expertise in identity management, reduced/single sign-on across Minnstate's enterprise solutions, and directory integration or synchronization with 33 institutions' Active Directory systems and other enterprise and 3rd party systems. This position's primary focus will be administering/implementing identity management systems/solutions, managing changes to the systems, developing and maintaining workflows, and working with stakeholders to ensure that systems and processes are implemented and used as intended.
