Working Conditions + This position in located in the Riverpoint Marketplace area of West Sacramento (10 minutes from downtown), near the IKEA. Our building offers a free parking lot to employees and is within walking distance of numerous restaurants and shops. + This position is eligible for a hybrid telework option, in accordance with CAL FIRE's telework policy, and will be required to report to the office as needed/required. The successful candidate must reside in California upon appointment. + This position supports a statewide, 24/7 public safety technology environment and requires the ability to respond to mission-critical service issues affecting CAL FIRE operations. The incumbent must be willing and able to serve as Manager-On-Duty and participate in duty officer rotations as required. The position may require work during evenings, weekends, holidays, or outside normal business hours to support incidents, outages, planned maintenance, emergency operations, or service restoration activities. The incumbent must be able to exercise sound judgment, communicate effectively under time-sensitive conditions, coordinate with internal teams, vendors, control agencies, and stakeholders, and make operational decisions appropriate for a public safety technology environment.
