The role also performs chart corrections, coordinates medical record merges across systems, monitors and updates tickets, assists with ticket rotation, and escalates issues to downstream system owners. Work must protect PHI, follow HIPAA and department procedures, and maintain accurate patient records that support patient safety, billing accuracy, revenue cycle performance, regulatory compliance, and timely service levels., * Manage Epic EMPI potential duplicate work queues and resolve duplicate medical record issues. * Perform chart corrections and coordinate medical record merges across multiple systems. * Review patient overlay work queues and verify demographic changes were completed accurately. * Prioritize urgent cases, including admitted patients and patients with upcoming appointments. * Monitor, update, and manage assigned tickets while assisting with ticket rotation. * Coordinate corrections with downstream clinical and business system owners and escalate issues when appropriate. * Ensure all work complies with HIPAA, patient privacy requirements, department procedures, and PHI protection standards. * Maintain accurate patient records that support patient safety, billing accuracy, revenue cycle performance, regulatory compliance, and established service levels. * Assist with workflow documentation, quality improvement initiatives, reporting, and patient data integrity analysis as needed., Registration / ADT - Chart Correction - Patient Overlay Resolution - Medical Record Merges - Cadence - Resolute - Others? * Have you supported patient identity, Health Information Management (HIM), or chart correction workflows in Epic? * Briefly explain your experience with Epic EMPI. * This position requires a 10-panel drug screen and a lifetime federal and state criminal background check.
