## About the Role

* Requires minimum 5 years job related work experience in excess of degree requirements
 * Bachelor's Degree : Computer Science or related field (Required)
 * Or a combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge to a major in such fields is required, * Proven experience developing and deploying cloud-native Kubernetes applications.
 * Scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python) for automation.
 * Linux administration skills (preferred)
 * Strong problem-solving skills
 * Strong communication skills.
 * Hands-on experience administering Kubernetes clusters (bare metal and/or public cloud environments).
 * Hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (preferred).

Solid understanding of networking, storage, and security within Kubernetes, Designs and engineers secure network and cloud architectures across AWS, GCP, Azure, and physical data centers. Responsibilities include threat modeling, network segmentation, monitoring, alerting, automation, attack-surface reduction, and secure connection patterns. The role drives strategic security improvements, partners with product and infrastructure teams, communicates architectural decisions, and mentors engineers. Candidates need deep hybrid networking and cloud security expertise, protocol knowledge, scripting ability, independent problem-solving skills, and strong communication.

## Description

We are seeking a skilled Kubernetes Administrator and Application Developer to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal, candidate will have hands-on experience building cloud-native Kubernetes applications and administration of Kubernetes clusters, particularly with RH OpenShift, in bare-metal environments., * Collaborate with application development teams to deploy, scale, and manage cloud-native applications

 * Administer and maintain Kubernetes clusters on bare metal and OpenShift platforms.
 * Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cluster performance and reliability.
 * Automate operational tasks using scripting and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Ansible, Helm).
 * Ensure security best practices and compliance standards within the clusters.
